IT’S ME!

Honestly guys I’m a little bit blown away with my influx of recent followers. Over 300 beautiful souls have joined my floristry journey in the last couple of weeks.
.
I thought I would show my face and let you know a little about me.
.
I’ve been a florist for 18 years although I’ve only been going alone for the past 6 years. It’s been a steep learning curve but one I’ve absolutely loved.
.
• I adore walking and spending time out with my beautiful greyhound Memphis
• I have three beautiful children who also like to help out prepping the flowers in the studio
• My husband is a police constable 👮‍♂️
(Not sure if I should be sharing this - not everyone likes them 😬)
• I live in a lovely part of Warwickshire in the UK
• I travel all over the UK for weddings and events
• my favourite colour is green
• my favourite animal apart from dogs is a giraffe 🦒
• I had a big birthday this year (40 🤫)
• I love travelling and still have a big list of places I want to go to. Any destination wedding people let me know I’m sure we can help out ☺️
• summer is my favourite time of year but I adore Christmas

So this week is a bit of a laid back relaxation treat.
I’m off to meet up with fellow wedding industry peeps including the lovely Liz @blueskyflowers

I was lucky enough to work with Liz freelancing earlier in the year helping to bring these pictures from a vision into a reality.

I’m so looking forward to putting my feet up having a chat, getting into full relaxation mode and I’m probably going to shed a few tears too.

It’s always so nice to find your people as @fayecornhill says and I’ve found them in Faye and @theweddingbusinessclub

Now all I need to do is finish packing the bag and I’m on out of office for the rest of the week 😬🙌🏻

Not all the time but many times brides start of bold choosing what they want and then the next time we meet it’s totally changed to a more muted or generic version of the original vision.

If you let your vendors run with you on your initial ideas the results are 10X better than you could ever imagine.
.
Don’t get me wrong, if you are a classic white and green couple and that works for you, do it! I’m under no illusion that not everyone wants hot pink party vibes.
.
Just a be true to you as a couple and the day will really reflex and connect so much better with your guests.

Although we would love to work with everyone we cannot always accommodate.
This isn’t because we are being greedy, or hear wedding and hike up the prices.

Many factors go into our quotes. We spend days, hours, weeks and months on each and every wedding. We think we are worth more than below minimum wage.
We know not everyone will want to work with us, sometimes down to price and sometimes down to not having that connection and this is totally fine. We find our couples gravitate towards us who truly appreciate the fabulousness of flowers and styling and what an impact they can make on your special day.
W know our couples love what we do and stand for, if you think we could be a good fit then we want to chat.
